Seat of House Bar Emmon at the very tip of Massey's Hook, where the narrow sea meets the mouth of Blackwater Bay. From its headland the castle watches over the Gullet, the strait between Driftmark and Massey's Hook through which all shipping bound for King's Landing must pass.
The Beacon
A tall stone tower crowned with a great beacon fire rises above Sharp Point, its light a guide to friendly ships and a warning against foes. The Bar Emmons were among the first lords to declare for Aegon the Conqueror when he sailed from Dragonstone, and their swordfish banner has followed the dragon ever since.
