Seat of House Fell, standing in the northern marches of the stormlands where the kingswood spills down toward Storm's End. The castle guards the wooded roads that bind the Baratheon seat to the Blackwater, and armies marching between them have often camped beneath its walls.

The Fells have held Felwood since the days of the Storm Kings, and their lands lie thick with oak and ironwood. Their lords keep the forest tracks clear of outlaws and their axes have furnished timber for many a stormland keep and hull, for which service kings both storm-born and dragon-born have shown them favor.
